Embers is here to provide a general and safe space on the microfedi for everyone to be yourself and to make new friends. This instance is a general purpose instance for all people, however we expect everyone to be nice and friendly to each other.

Embers.social is built on top of the Friendica software. What Mastodon and Calckey (e.g: Blåhaj.zone) are to Twitter, and Lemmy (e.g: Blåhaj Lemmy) is to Reddit, Friendica is to Facebook. Using Embers should feel like a friend-based community, chatting about topics, arranging meetups having meaningful friendships and less like an endless stream of status update posts.

So pull up a camp seat, and gather around the cosy embers. Have a good old yarn and make some new friends.
